Start the Season Right
Winter is hard on yards. Leaves that didn't get picked up in fall are now a soggy mess. Branches came down in storms. Dead plants from last year need to be cut back. Your lawn is brown and matted.
Spring cleanup takes care of all that. We come in and clear everything away so your yard can breathe. Then we prep your beds and lawn for the growing season ahead. It's like hitting the reset button on your property.
What We Do
- Debris Removal: We rake up all the leaves, sticks, and other stuff that collected over winter
- Bed Preparation: We edge beds, turn soil, and get them ready for plants
- Dead Plant Removal: We cut back dead perennials and remove anything that didn't survive winter
- Pruning: We trim shrubs and trees that need early spring pruning
- Lawn Dethatching: We rake out the dead grass that smothers new growth
- Mulch Application: We add fresh mulch to make everything look finished
The Best Time
We start spring cleanups as soon as the ground thaws, usually late March or early April. The earlier we get to your property, the better head start your lawn and plants have.
That said, you can call us anytime in spring and we'll get you cleaned up. It's never too late to give your yard some attention.
After a Tough Winter
Marshfield gets hit hard by winter storms. Salt spray from the ocean, heavy snow, and strong winds all take their toll. After especially bad winters, your yard might need extra help to bounce back.
We can assess any storm damage during your spring cleanup. If plants died or were damaged, we'll let you know and can recommend replacements.
"They transformed our yard from a winter disaster to ready-for-summer in one morning. The mulch, the clean edges, everything looks amazing. Couldn't be happier."
"We've used them for spring cleanup for four years now. They always do a thorough job, and our yard is the first on the street to look good every spring."
