A Classic Choice That Lasts

Brick has been used in buildings for thousands of years. There's a reason it's still popular. Brick looks warm and welcoming. It fits with almost any home style. And when installed right, it lasts for decades.

Modern concrete pavers offer even more choices. They come in shapes and colors that look like brick, stone, or something completely new. Whatever look you want for your patio, there's a paver that can make it happen.

Types of Pavers

Clay Brick: Traditional brick made from fired clay. Has a warm, reddish color that ages beautifully. Very durable and classic looking.

Concrete Pavers: Made from concrete pressed into molds. Come in many colors, shapes, and textures. Can look like brick, stone, or unique patterns.

Interlocking Pavers: Shaped to fit together like puzzle pieces. The interlocking design keeps them from shifting.

Tumbled Pavers: Processed to look worn and aged. Give a rustic, old-world appearance.

Popular Patterns

  • Running Bond: Like a brick wall laid flat. Simple and classic.
  • Herringbone: Pavers set at angles to form a zigzag pattern. Very strong and interesting to look at.
  • Basket Weave: Pairs of pavers alternating direction. Creates a woven look.
  • Circular: Pavers arranged in circles, often around a center point. Makes a dramatic focal point.
  • Random: Different sized pavers mixed together. Looks more natural and casual.

Why Pavers Work

Unlike solid concrete, a paver patio is made of many individual pieces. When the ground moves with frost and thaw, the pavers flex with it instead of cracking. If one paver does get damaged, you just replace that one piece.

Pavers also drain well. Water seeps between them and into the ground below instead of running off. This is better for your yard and better for the environment.

Colors That Last

Good quality pavers have color all the way through, not just on the surface. That means even if they chip or wear, the color stays the same. We use pavers from trusted makers that won't fade in the sun.

Adding Borders

A contrasting border around your patio makes it stand out. You might use darker pavers around the edge of a light-colored patio. Or add a row of brick around a concrete paver patio. Borders frame your outdoor space and give it a finished look.
